A charming Australian quartet, San Cisco embodies youthful ennui on this five-song EP’s title track.Apparently written and recorded in one afternoon the titular track is rough (replete with vocals that will either seduce or grate), immature, and a perfect opener for a series of songs written for people who are both and, unsurprisingly, a little awkward. “Rocket Ship” and “Lover” have familiar sing-along vibes and lyrics that are equal parts heartfelt and silly while “505”, which may be the one “serious” tune present, tries just a little too hard to escape the mold cast elsewhere. The closing “Reckless”, on the other hand, sees a return to form albeit with the perfect taste of bittersweet.
