French MPC producer Azaxx takes the bubbly house of label mainstay Will “Quantic” Holland and drags it through the funky side of ‘70s Brazil, coming out the other side dripping with samba and sunshine, and underneath the handclaps, bongos, and shakers, there is more bass than any deejay could wish for. His command of samples, from selection to arrangement, is as flawless as humanly possible. He makes it easy to forget the facts of its creation and simply boogie down to the global village grooves. To be sure, Exotic Delight Bay is a butt-wiggling party in a box as sure to please South America as Brighton. Umbrella adorned frosty cocktails not included.
