ShareThis live recording is a very interesting collection of songs from Chuck Ragan, who has a roots rock feel to much of his repertoire, on display here on a February evening. “Open Up and Wail” and the somewhat catchy “The Boat” start things off in a rock mode. Ragan’s raspy delivery brings to mind Marah and, to a much lesser extent, Springsteen. He saves his best “The Boss” moment during the stellar “For Broken Ears”, which hits all the finer points of a Springsteen tune.
