ShareWow, just what the world needs: a really lame Atom & His Package knock-off. Although Filkoe claims to be some sort of “hip hop” artist, this is just tedious white-boy electro-dorkiness without any wit or energy to recommend it. The theme here seems to be songs about animals (Sasquatch, the duck-billed platypus, rubber duckies, etc.), but I just hear a feckless artist with lots of expensive equipment and/or studio time. He apparently thinks he is quite funny too, which becomes a major irritation as the album proceeds (he’s not funny at all). By the time he invokes the “the power of a grunge band’s frontman’s t-shirt” you kinda wish he’d forget to hang his food in a tree next time he camps at the local grizzly-use-area.
