Power Of The Trinity, concentrates on the many Jamaican harmony groups that adapted their sound from 1960s American soul music, while the volume Revolutionary Sounds moves away from the harmony groups and to the great solo singers of the era. The Rastafarian cultural movement, extremely prevalent in reggae, most prominently with Bob Marley, inspires the volume By The Rivers Of Babylon, whereas the slower, explosive grooves of classic dub comprise the fourth volume, In The Red Zone. Together these four discs create an impressive overview of the history and many genres of Jamaican music, though ska is not part of the collection.
