Taken from the upcoming 3xCD/ Double Vinyl release Sadly, The Future is Not What it Was (which is quite accurately named), this is the first release recorded under Kirby’s given name. His multiplicity of past work most famously includes V/VM, The Stranger, and The Caretaker. Like the amazing work as the Caretaker, Kirby’s debut promises to further animate the sonic alienation that exists between the rapidly changing world and the rapidly deteriorating past.
