Lollygaggers will be tickled pink this holiday season by The Ultimate Book of Sports Movies. This encyclopedia of sports on film provides reviews, quotes and fun trivia about classics such as Field of Dreams and The Karate Kid. But it also provides a lovely resource of hope and dreams achieved since that is what any great sports movie is about. If you know anyone who can’t stop quoting Caddyshack (“Don’t sell yourself short, Judge. You’re a tremendous slouch.”), this is the book for them.
