With unmatched ease of play, fluidity, and graphics, NBA 2K10 stands atop the basketball sim market as the premiere gaming experience. Developers implemented a new engine for designing facial characteristics and it shows—Kobe Bryant looks like Kobe Bryant—while the gameplay is the most real-to-life of any console hoops port. The players bend, move, and interact so realistically that it’s difficult to experience any other basketball game without feeling like you’re playing a cheap sim. Despite the game’s few, albeit noticeable flaws, NBA 2K10 is a must-own for NBA and gaming fans.
