“I’ll laugh all the way to the morgue.” This is what singer Paul Schalda and father Schalda yell at brother Will half way through the video for Pablo’s “Learn a Lesson” as Will sips a can of Bud, apparently unconcerned. This Staten Island brother duo have been performing under different monikers since the early ‘90s, but their latest album There’s Rope to Leave may be their sharpest, most well-honed piece of folk rock making them one of the Island’s greatest exports.
