Three Mile Pilot hasn’t put out a full-length release since 1997’s Another Desert, Another Sea, a long gap that wasn’t exactly planned. The group planned to soldier on, but Zach Smith got busy with Pinback, while Pall Jenkins and Tobias Nathaniel formed the Black Heart Procession. Both of those bands have done nicely for themselves, so Three Mile Pilot was on the back burner for a solid decade-plus. In a little over two weeks, Three Mile Pilot are finally releasing their long-awaited follow-up to Another Desert, Another Sea. The Inevitable Past Is the Future Forgotten drops on 28 September via Temporary Residence and today we are proud to present the premiere of the perfectly-titled “Still Alive” from the new album.
