Paul Simon "Getting Ready for Christmas Day" with Free Download

by J.C. Sciaccotta

This spring, Paul Simon will drop So Beautiful or So What, his first album of new material in five years. In support of this upcoming record, he has released a pair of videos for the holiday track, “Getting Ready for Christmas Day”.

The first video features the song’s lyrics aligning themselves sing-a-long style onto a church billboard while the second is an animated extravanganza. You can also download the song for free (and by “free”, I mean for your email address). However you decide to take this dose of Christmas cheer, it’s sure to be a nice reprieve from the ad nauseum rotation of “Santa Baby” and “Wonderful Christmastime” currently plaguing the world.
