As you can hear from the new single "River Song", Piney Gir performs a brand of upbeat indie-pop sure to delight fans of the Vivian Girls and Best Coast.

Piney Gir grew up in a fundamentalist Christian household in Kansas City with no access to popular culture until the age of 14 when her minister father left the home. And now she calls the multi-cultural mecca of London home, a place where she can surely indulge in every aspect of pop culture from around the world.

Her latest album Geronimo! released October 14th was produced by Rob Campanella of Brian Jonestown Massacre and has drawn acclaim from the likes of UNCUT, The Guardian, and MOJO, as well as a recent profile from NPR.

As you can hear from the new single “River Song”, Piney Gir performs a brand of upbeat indie-pop sure to delight fans of the Vivian Girls and Best Coast.
