What’s a former punk rocker to do once the angst is gone? In the case of Doug Carrion, former member of punk luminaries Descendents, Dag Nasty and Circle Jerks, you turn to the genre that largely fathered punk: country. Billed as Doug C and the Blacklisted, Carrion and his ad hoc band of fellow California musicians have road tested their sound in advance of next week’s release of their self-titled EP.
