The Australian singer-songwriter brings welcome dark humor to modern Americana.

Part Lee Hazlewood, part Roy Orbison, part Nick Cave, Australian singer-songwriter Henry Wagons recorded his upcoming solo debut After What I Did Last Night… in Nashville recorded with producer Skylar Wilson (Justin Townes Earle). As you can sense in the new lyric video for “Cold Burger Cold Fries”, Wagons has a good knack for wry humor as well as Americana song craft.
“In the hazy world of the morning after, nothing makes sense, but everything is all too clear,” he says. “You laugh, you cry and eat whatever is left. ‘Cold burger, cold fries…it’s all I deserve’.”
