Prince Rama - "Now Is the Time of Emotion" (Singles Going Steady)

by PopMatters Staff

21 January 2016

Great energy and that whole childlike, “We could be robots or a rock band” thing is pretty dang pleasant.

Jedd Beaudoin: What a pleasant surprise! Great energy and that whole childlike, “We could be robots or a rock band” thing is pretty dang pleasant. The tune also doesn’t stay in one place too long, it’s repetitive when it needs to be but keeps on surprising as it goes along and it’ll get you up and dancing too. You can’t see me right now but I’m actually typing this with my feet ‘cause I’m waving my hands in the air. Hopefully not everything the band does is exactly like this ‘cause that’d be boring but this is sooo good. [8/10]

Steve Horowitz: Words you can dance to with abandon! It’s time to stop thinking and just let go. Turn around and around and around as being dizzy helps intensify the electronic vibes. A cool track with a steady beat that keeps one in constant motion. Happy or lonely, young or old doesn’t matter. Just feel. Now is the time…. [8/10]

John Bergstrom: Far out, man. Groovy. It’s just under three minutes, but somehow that feels a bit too long. [6/10]
