Recalling just about everything Mike Patton has gotten his hot little hands on over the years, plus classic Yoko Ono and myriad so-called Krautrock outfits with a little bit of black metal (think Ulver) thrown in, this outfit creates a highly memorable 36-minute pastiche of this, that, and the other thing. The convoluted bio accompanying the album does little to illuminate the group’s aesthetics or fully define just what in the hell is going on here, Bob. Doesn’t matter. If you have to ask, you should probably call it a night and go home. Perfectly weird, absurd, and brimming with imagination. More, please.
