Oh No Not Stereo: Oh No Not Stereo

The fact that this band’s touring schedule includes gigs with Fall Out Boy and Yellowcard, and that their clever marketers declare them worthy of Refused fans basically tells you what they sound like (read: lyrical banalities such as “Love me or hate me/ Just never forget me” as well as guitar riffs of the anthem variety). If I was about seven years younger and if I needed Differin gel I would be totally into them; they have that produced pop appeal that I was never able to turn my back on. Featuring songs about “getting wasted” for the underage crowd, and the obligatory tribute to California, it’s just what one would expect from a band following in the now rich and famous footsteps of the aforementioned tour-mates.
