We Do This

In an alternate universe, Sqad Up are triple-platinum on Cash Money Records.  We Do This is another release packed full of shit-talking New Orleans swagger and fans worldwide pick up the tape, bumping “Gun Check”, the heartfelt “Gangsta” with the late great Souljah Slim, and “Parking Lot”, produced by Mannie Fresh.  Also, Hurricane Katrina never happened.  In the real world, Cash Money offered the New Orleans mixtape kings a horrible contract, whose rejection got the Sqad ostracized from the New Orleans scene.  We Do This is an incredibly solid mixtape including the stand-out tracks listed above, but whose best track is unfortunately titled “Katrina”.
