KZA: Dig and Edit

There isn’t a more well-known DJ on the Japanese nu-disco circuit than KZA, whose skills on the 1s and 2s have moved crowds from Tokyo to Taipei. He is also highly regarded as the owner of one of the most extensive record collections in the Far East. And for his debut album as a solo act, this key member of the Asian beat collective Force of Nature combines his unmatched skills behind the Technics with his savant-like knowledge of music to create a staggering set of 808 breaks crafted to move the body and the brain with equal abandon. Dig and Edit is the sound of an entire wall unit of obscure vinyl being whittled down to a singular club floor thump that is as rich as it is deep.
