Pacifika – “Yo Te Amo” (video) (Premiere)

Pacifika‘s global beats have earned high praise from the likes of NPR and the Wall Street Journal and that’s likely to repeat with Amor Planeta. The new album ups the live instrumentation and tones down the electronics, whilst the band took a new approach of live jamming tunes into proper songs, which makes for a greater dynamicism.

Today we bring you “Yo Te Amo”, which Pacifika says “is a song about the purity of Love with the universe and nature acting as muse. The goal for the video was to create a simple and organic companion that lets the music sing for herself. Enlisting the help of accomplished Italian cinematographer Filippo Borghi, the video is one, uninterrupted long-shot of Silvana Kane, Toby Peter, and Adam Popowitz performing the song while basking in the sun streaming through the trees. A moment of joy.”
