With a vocal harmony that hearkens back to the days of ’70s folk and California rock (think Fleetwood Mac and Linda Rondstadt), the husband/wife duo Trevor Moss and Hannah-Lou craft tender and melodious tunes. Having spent the summer of 2014 touring with Tori Amos, the duo is already starting to make a name for itself in a big way following the release of its most recent LP, La ferme de fontenaille. One of the singles off that record, “For a Minute There”, now has a video, which you can watch below.
The couple tells PopMatters about the video, “We released the single ‘For a Minute There’ whilst we were on our first USA tour, opening for Tori Amos this summer. It’s been a brilliant adventure, travelling the length of the West Coast, across the country then down the East Coast finishing with three shows in Florida. The video was filmed on Hastings beach- where we’re from in East Sussex, on the South Coast of England. The cliff behind us in the video came down a few months later in last years storms.”
La ferme de fontenaille is out now.
