Blur Dig Into the 'Parklife' Deep Cuts at Their Brooklyn Gig (video)

At their recent Brooklyn gig, Blur performed several classics alongside the material from their new record, including Parklife's "Trouble in the Messenger Centre".

Blur's essential Britpop recording, 1994's Parklife, is best known for hit singles like "Girls & Boys". Of course, like any classic album, there are valuable deep cuts to be found when you mine your way through the requisite hits, something Blur know quite well. In their end-of-April gig at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg, the band brought out the Parklife tune "Trouble in the Messenger Centre", which hasn't been played in the US for 20 years.

The videos below follow four other tunes PopMatters has shared this week, including "Lonesome Street"/"New World Towers" and "Ghost Ship"/"Song 2".

Also included in the video gallery below is an interview with Blur about the making of their new record, The Magic Whip.

The Magic Whip is out now via Parlophone.
