Run the Jewels 2, which we here at PopMatters gave the top spot on our Best Albums of 2014 list, is a triumph and a breakthrough for the creative force that is the duo of Killer Mike and El-P. The record saw Run the Jewels receive their widest acclaim to date.

Following the video to the Run the Jewels 2 cut “Close Your Eyes (and Count to Fuck)”, which grippingly highlighted the problem of police violence in the United States, the duo have another video with a similar focus, this time for the track “Early”.

The video’s animation was created by Bug and Sluzzy.

Run the Jewels 2 is out via Mass Appeal.
