Stealing Signs – “Hide and Seek” (video) (premiere)

Bearing a likeable resemblance to Biffy Clyro and the Kooks while fitting in neatly alongside fellow UK buzz band Wolf Alice, Essex band Stealing Signs will release their new EP Hide and Seek in a few weeks. In the meantime they’ve made a cute little android-inspired video for the playful title track, which we’re glad to premiere here at PopMatters.

“We bloody loved doing this video with a couple of very talented directors,” the band says about the .Junk-directed clip. “It’s Terminator meets Short Circuit with a pinch of I, Robot, and a tongue that is definitely in it’s cheek.”

Hide and Seek will be released 10 July, while the single “Hide and Seek” will be released 29 June.
