Teenage Love - "Deserted Places" (video) (premiere)

The new video by this Copenhagen-New York duo shows a wonderfully dark sense of humor.

Comprised of Copenhagen-based electronic producer Anna Lidell and New York-based violinist and singer Katy Gunn, transatlantic duo Teenage Love released their charming debut EP last month. They've just put together a wonderful video for the wry little song "Deserted Places" that not only showcases their minimalist orchestral pop, but their tremendously dry sense of humor as well.

"We had fun making this video with friend and videographer Sanne This and actor Karl Wieck, they tell PopMatters. "The song is an ironic/sarcastic take on gluttony, and how it leads to complacency and eventually decay followed by DEATH! With icing on top, of course."

No Fear No More: An Interview with Madeon

Madeon shot to fame as a teenager as a new dance music hero, then withdrew from the world as he battled with his emotions. Now, with his thoughtful sophomore album, Madeon is back with an evolved sound and a new outlook, ready to connect with people like never before.
