Asheville, North Carolina’s Ahleuchatistas return this October with their new album, Arrebato. The instrumental duo’s latest collection is also their first for the International Anthem label. As a follow-up to 2012’s Heads Full of Poison, Arrebato — which is Spanish for “passionate outburst” — continues to expand the band’s shape-shifting sound. For 10-plus years, Ahleuchatistas have deliberately and methodically evolving from punk-inspired terse outbursts into more expansive and exploratory tracks. The trailer for the album suggests that this is their most wide-open record yet, still tense but tempered with a sense of space, a sense of meditation. Arrebato is out 30 October on International Anthem. Check out the trailer below and pre-order the record here.
