Brent Faulkner

Brent Faulkner is a self-described ultimate music enthusiast. Interested in all facets of music, Faulkner is a music educator, composer, and music journalist amongst other things. Faulkner's interests in music criticism began through submitting music reviews to amazon.com. Serving as a springboard, Faulkner would eventually pen music reviews for various sites including Do Tell Gospel, The Urban Music Scene. In addition to contributing to Pop Matters, Faulkner maintains his own blog, brentmusicreviews.com and contributes to the music section of starpulse.com. Faulkner received his B.A. in Music Education (Instrumental emphasis) in 2008 and followed up with a M.M. in Music Theory/Composition in 2010, both from Eastern Kentucky University. As a musician, Faulkner is a multi-instrumentalist with piano and trombone serving as principle instruments.
