Christel Loar

Christel Loar is a freelance writer and editor, a part-time music publicist, and a full-time music fan. She is often an overreactor and sometimes an overachiever. When not dodging raindrops or devising escape plans, Christel is usually found down front and slightly left of center stage reveling in a performance by yet another new favorite band. Christel holds a B.S. degree in Magazine Journalism from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. She hopes that one day this will mean something. She's a sucker for close harmonies and melodic bass lines, and she would like to meet Brian Wilson (all the Wilsons really, Andrew, Owen, Luke...). Christel currently sleeps in Eugene, Oregon, but she dreams of Austin, Texas.
