Christian Gallichio is a postdoctoral teaching fellow in the Writing Program
and English Department at Emory University. His research interests include
nineteenth century transatlanticism, Victorian film adaptation, and gothic
studies. His work has appeared in such journals as Victoriographies and
Neo-Victorian Studies. He is also currently a contributing film critic at The
