Sarah Zupko

Sarah Zupko founded PopMatters, one of the largest independent cultural criticism sites, in the Internet's early days of 1999. Zupko is a former Executive Producer for Tribune Media Services, the media syndication arm of the Tribune Company.Her research and writing interests include European cultural and intellectual history, music, football, art, and architecture.Zupko studied musicology, film, and art at the University of Chicago, where she earned her BA. She received her MA in media theory and journalism at the University of Texas. She calls west London home.
