Kara Hunt

Kara Hunt is a surveyor and evaluator of all things post-soul era black comedy, a genre she finds to be sorely overlooked and under reviewed; so much so that she wrote an entire dissertation about it, which with the right combination of magic and labor will be in book form soon. In an effort to make the voices of black comedians more widely heard, Kara has interviewed everyone from Chris Rock to CoCoa Brown on their approach to and career in standup comedy.
