Türkü Şahin is a fashion designer and cultural researcher with master’s degrees in both Psychology and Art History. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, she lectured in FIT’s dual degree program at Istanbul Technical University and is currently a faculty member at Istanbul Bilgi University’s Fashion and Textile Design Department. Previously the Editor-in-Chief of Frame Turkey, she has conducted interviews with figure including Shirley Manson, Alessandro Mendini and Etienne Russo for Cumhuriyet, Turkey's oldest daily newspaper, and the art and culture publication XOXO The Mag.
