Valentino Zullo holds a PhD in English from Kent State University, teaches at the Cleveland Institute of Art, and is a licensed social worker practicing as a maternal depression Therapist at Ohio Guidestone. He is American Editor of the Journal of Graphic Novels and Comics and the former Ohio Center for the Book Scholar-in-Residence at Cleveland Public Library where he created the Get Graphic program
