Jonathan Frahm is a journalist and author from the San Francisco Bay Area who currently resides in Tucson, AZ. For the past decade that Jonathan has been living in Tucson, he has come to hold a tremendous appreciation for its burgeoning music and arts scene. This passion has acted as the trampoline that jettisoned him into the position he is now, dishing out articles on great music for PopMatters, For Folk's Sake (where he is North American Editor), his personal site
jfrahm.com, and other publications.
When he isn't writing, Jonathan is usually out catching some of his favorite artists in town, including the Ronstadt Brothers, Run Boy Run, Ryanhood, Jacob Acosta, and Elizabeth Tighe. He also enjoys traversing state parks, reading all sorts of books, and putting in some practice on his trusty banjulele. He also holds a flame for gaming—particularly with Nintendo systems—that he's been feeding since childhood.
