Jeremy Squires - "Carry You" (video) (premiere)

Imbued with ghosts and memories, Shadows delves deeper into Jeremy Squires' brand of mountain folk.

With Gothic repose, North Carolina singer/songwriter Jeremy Squires intones, "Sending arrows straight / Balance targets on my head / Solitary space / For you I would change", on "Carry You", the opening song from his latest album, Shadows.

Imbued with ghosts and memories, Shadows delves deeper into Squires' brand of mountain folk. Running counter to the single's stark consolation, the surreal video for "Carry You" from Lexington, Kentucky's Shaker Steps questions who's haunting whom.

Shadows can be purchased via Bandcamp.
