RKDN - "Silver" (audio) (premiere)

The Utah band go huge on their contagious dance pop single.

The fact that RKDN will be opening for Bastille in later this fall will tell you everything you need to know about what they sound like. Indeed, the Utah band pull off some huge-sounding, shimmering dance pop that has the same broad appeal as Bastille. New track "Silver", from their upcoming debut album due out in early 2016, keeps things simple, letting the song's massive hook lead the way, punctuated by huge, stadium-friendly beats.

"Silver is straight from our hearts," says singer-songwriter Matt Orr. "We couldn’t ask for a better debut track to represent us as a band."

Keep an eye on these guys.

Music legend Herb Alpert discusses his new album, Over the Rainbow, maintaining his artistic drive, and his place in music history. "If we tried to start A&M in today's environment, we'd have no chance. I don't know if I'd get a start as a trumpet player. But I keep doing this because I'm having fun."
