Sam DeRosa – “I Wanna Love You” (video) (premiere)

A native of New York’s Hudson Valley and graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Sam DeRosa will be releasing her new fan-funded EP Heartbeats & Heartbreak on 11 December. In advance of that we’ve got the new lyric video for the track “I Wanna Love You”, which finds DeRosa incorporating gentle funk into her already effervescent sound.

“This song woke me up around 2:00 am and forced itself into conception!” she says. “I just kept singing the chorus. So I turned on my lights and started writing! This song is about wanting to have fun with someone who’s recently caught your eye. It’s playful and sweet. I hope everyone likes it!”
