It makes me miserable to see an artist turning himself into a handmaiden of science, using his skill to illustrate (or interpret) scientific concepts. C’mon man, I want to say, don’t make your art about science, use your art to do science.
Dr. Long integrates his scientific study of his team's "2008 hunt for the world's oldest vertebrate willy" with a diligent account of insect, reptile, amphibian, fish, dinosaur, mammal, primate and eventually, human stimulation, copulation, and fertilization.
