Improper ads or wave of the future?
You decide from this Folio Magazine article. The issue is should have the XXL magazine editor lent himself to an ad. He obviously doesn't think so but other editors think that he's crossed a moral line between editorial and advertising. With ad revenues dangerously dropping for magazines though, this might be the way of the future as publications figure out ways to survive. It will be interesting to see whether ethics trump some manner of survival instincts as such.
