"Dig a Little Deeper" is a pure pop delight, with its "Caribbean flavour and calypso vibe, the bongos from 'Young Folks' making a welcome return during a break, and Peter Morén’s wonderfully danceable chicken scratch guitar work."

Back in March when Gimme Some was released, we praised the album as being even better than Peter Bjorn and John’s masterpiece, Writer’s Block. Zachary Houle said, “Gimme Some reveals a band that is reinvigorated, one that has remembered what it was like to make music without forcing the issue. And there’s not much more to say, except: welcome back, guys.” Time has done nothing to diminish this impression and Gimme Some continues to offer up gems, such as the latest single, “Dig a Little Deeper”. The Ted Malmros and Gustaf von Arbin directed video that we premiere today is a pure pop delight, with its “Caribbean flavour and calypso vibe, the bongos from ‘Young Folks’ making a welcome return during a break, and Peter Morén’s wonderfully danceable chicken scratch guitar work.”
