Thunderegg – “An Absolutely Ordinary Date” (audio) (Premiere)

Thunderegg powers his poppy musical adventures with killer lyrics, creating engrossing stories at each turn, forming a sort of pop literature if you will. Next week will see the release of a new Thunderegg album, C’mon Thunder, while today we premiere the single “An Absolutely Ordinary Date”.

Georgantas tells us, “first dates can be so cautious. In the background you sometimes feel this impulsive urge to propose running away together, then just seeing how it pans out. It would at least be a good story. Knowing you’re watching someone walk away for the last time is a story too, but we’ve all lived it so many times. You can get sick of that one.”
