Alejandro Hirsch Saed

Alejandro is a filmmaker, researcher, and educator. Originally from Mexico City, Alejandro holds an MA in Comparative Literature from UC Irvine. His research focuses mainly on film and some literature from Latin American, Africa, and marginalized communities. His interests are time perception in postcolonial countries, development issues, and violence. He was the art director for the film "African Giants" (2022), and has developed two experimental shorts.
