Palace Doctor Showcases Their Brand of Indie Rock on “There You Go” (video premiere)

Second single from Athens, Georgia's Palace Doctor further introduces band's brand of indie rock.

Palace Doctor’s new single from their debut album, Mangled, showcases the insistent sound that’s the band’s calling card. Consisting of gentle rises and falls to its solid riff and backbeat, “There You Go” is a great baseline representation of Palace Doctor’s sound, which can range from smooth melodicism to heavy guitar crunch. The band consists of Athens, Georgia scene veterans Phillip Brantley (vocals, guitar), Jeremy Wheatley (drums), and Nick Robbins (bass). Between the three of them, they’ve played with acts like Modern Skirts, Crooked Fingers, Velveteen Pink, and Eric Bachman, and it shows in Mangled’s approach to modern indie rock.

Palace Doctor will be performing at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA on Saturday, 31 March with Twin Peaks and the Districts.
